How I’d go about creating/changing this post.

This is a made-up version of a post I saw recently here on LI.

💡 I want to take you through my process of how I would go about improving it.

𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘: The Quickest Way to Sharpen Your Sales Skills:

Invest in sales courses and books, and observe the best in your company.

If you want to know what great salespeople look like, ask your colleagues who the best are and ask to meet with them or observe them.

This might seem awkward initially, but embracing the growth mindset can drive you toward improvement.

You’ll want to take notes and closely monitor what the best are doing. Come prepared to ask questions and try to gain insights.

Ask for feedback on some of your recent presentations or pitches.

You can develop relationships with some of the top salespeople and use them as mentors or coaches if they are open to it.

When these coaching sessions are completed, review your notes, take 1 or 2 tips from them, and implement them into your sales calls or presentations.

Monitor these changes over time and see if they impact your success/conversion rates.

As you progress through your career, continue learning and evolving with best practices, and never stop trying to improve.

One day, you’ll find yourself being one of the mentors, teaching newer people the ropes.
