I didn’t even look forward to the weekends.

I didn’t even look forward to the weekends.

I didn’t even look forward to the weekends.

Sure, they were better than the work week, but they went by so quickly, and then it was right back to Monday morning, and we started the cycle all over.

By Saturday night, I was already dreading Sunday because it was too close to Monday.

And this wasn’t just in my last “9-5”. This was in most of them.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸: M – recording EP 4 of my podcast with Britta Blanski.

T – Meeting with my friend Xenia Smith to help me organize my schedule. I’ve been suffering from the paradox of choice since leaving my job, and I am having difficulty figuring out how to best spend my time each day.

1.1 Zoom call - my first meeting with Heather Maxwell, where we are discussing sports and the CPG industry.

W – Three 1.1 calls

  • 1st - I am working on a project with Timothy Åxman that I hope to launch in about a month.
  • 2nd – I signed up for a Zoom call with Krista Mollion through her newsletter and then survey, Zero to Six.
  • 3rd – A Zoom call with Lauren Fischetti, a career coach in California, and we’ll discuss corporate burnout and transitioning into coaching.

Th – Nothing scheduled. Sometimes this is good.

F – 𝗣𝗢𝗗𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗛, episode 1! I can’t wait to get this out. Recording these episodes has been some of the most fun I’ve ever had. Truly enjoyable.

Weekends fly by because you’re not paying attention to time.

That’s what my weeks are like now.

No more clock-watching, waiting to sign off and start living.

I can also enjoy the weekends because they are a natural extension of the week.
